Aerial Triangulation Network

Aerial Triangulation Network is a photogrammetric process used to establish accurate geographic relationships between overlapping aerial images and ground control points. It creates a network of tie points, control points, and image measurements to determine the precise position and orientation of each photograph captured by drones, aircraft, or satellites. By using advanced algorithms such as bundle block adjustment, aerial triangulation minimizes positional errors and improves the accuracy of mapping products.

This technique is a critical step in generating high-quality orthomosaics, Digital Elevation Models (DEM), Digital Surface Models (DSM), and 3D terrain models.
